Habit BreakerTM Coaching:
Stop the Habit That Keeps Pulling You Back
A One-On-One Coaching Program with Jackie Kelm.
If you’ve tried to change a compulsive behavior or thought and it keeps coming back, you’re in the right place.
You may be struggling with:
- Sugar binging or overeating
- Screen overuse or doomscrolling
- Gaming or procrastination
- Smoking, vaping, caffeine, or drinking more than you want
- Chronic worrying or health anxiety
- Overspending or underspending
- Other compulsive behaviors that are hard to stop
You may have tried to quit, but the urges and cravings keep pulling you back.
It’s not because you lack willpower, it’s because something deeper is driving the habit.
What Makes This Different
In this Habit BreakerTMcoaching program, we don’t try to control your behavior through willpower or discipline. We don’t work with triggers. We work directly with the underlying beliefs causing the urges, and when those beliefs shift, the behavior does too.
This means urges don’t have to be managed, because they go away. You’re desire to do the behavior stops when the beliefs driving it fully unravel.
This often happens in just a few sessions, and other times it takes more. And some habits require additional approaches to fully stop the habit. Either way, Habit Breaker can help.
People often say,
“I just don’t want to do it anymore.”
“If there was something sugary in my house, there would be no way I could eat it with moderation.
After one session of Habit BreakerTM sugar doesn’t feel appealing at all. There was something always pulling me, and now it’s gone. It’s been really effective.
– Sammie Varghese, Physician Assistant

Jackie will provide customized practices and recommendations based on what emerges. If an issue falls outside the scope of Habit Breaker coaching, she may recommend another appropriate form of support.

“I have had a lifelong struggle with sugar and have made some improvements over the years, but I was still eating highly processed sugar. After the Habit BreakerTMTechnique I have not eaten a highly processed sugar treat since, and I haven’t wanted to. This has been an amazing experience.”
– Cassandra O’Neill, Author & Founder of Leadership Alchemy.
What is Habit BreakerTM?
Habit Breaker is a standalone methodology for rapidly stopping or gaining control over unwanted thought, feeling, or behavior habits by changing the beliefs attached to them. It includes baseline assessments, the Habit Breaker unraveling technique for breaking habits, and the rebuilding framework for establishing new patterns. Click this link to learn more: Habit Breaker.
What kinds of habits does this work for?
It works for non-clinical compulsive behaviors and thoughts like sugar binging, overeating, screen use, social media compulsion, gaming, procrastination, overspending, excessive worry, smoking, vaping, or excessive drinking or caffeine. It is not for Alcohol Use Disorder or other issues that require therapy or medical treatment.
Will this work for my specific habit?
Habit Breaker can be used with thought, feeling, and behavior habits, although I found the Unraveling Technique appears to work most consistently with Behavior Habits where you are physically doing something repeatedly. Thought and Feeling habits such as chronic worry sometimes require additional approaches. If you’re unsure whether your habit is a good fit, contact us before enrolling.
Will the change last?
When the habit fully unravels, the urge connected to the original habit disappears. But what happens afterword can vary depending on the strength of the habit and the amount of effort required to rebuild your life afterwards. Some habits need little to no change afterwards, while others may require developing new habits, skills, or coping mechanisms. That’s why the program includes customized practices and support through the Rebuilding Framework, which may include recommended outside support if that is applicable.
Why only one habit?
This work is most effective when focused on one specific pattern. Once that shifts, other areas can be worked. And sometimes shifting one habit will impact others.
What are the daily practices?
Simple, customized, written exercises that take about 10 minutes a day. They’re designed to support you through the three phases of the Rebuilding Framework, and help you develop new ways of thinking or behaving after the habit changes.
Why is this offered at a reduced rate?
We are developing a training program for coaches to teach them the Habit Breaker methodology and would like additional coaching videos to use for demonstration purposes. We may also use the anonymous recordings at conference presentations or elsewhere.
What if I have to skip a coaching week?
The program is flexible. You schedule your coaching sessions and if you need to skip a week that is fine as long as you can keep up with your daily practices to some extent. You can discuss this with Jackie and she’ll find a way to accommodate you.
